Sinopse
Wayne Dobie é um policial tímido cujo comportamento discreto lhe rendeu o apelido carinhoso de "Cachorro Louco". Quando Dobie salva sem querer a vida de Frank Milo, um gângster e agiota local, ele ganha do mafioso um presente inesperado: Uma jovem garçonete atraente chamada Glory, por uma semana. Porém, os dois acabam se apaixonando antes do prazo se esgotar e terão de enfrentar a ira de Milo.
