Sinopse
A trágica história da pintora francesa Séraphine Louis, também conhecida como Séraphine de Senlis (1864-1942), uma humilde serva que se torna uma talentosa pintora autodidata. Descoberta pelo proeminente crítico William Uhde, ela ganhou destaque entre as guerras agrupada com outros pintores como Henri Rouseau, apenas para cair na loucura e na obscuridade com o início da Grande Depressão e da Segunda Guerra Mundial.
