Sinopse
Na estrada para Canterbury, conhecemos um soldado americano de licença, um sargento organista inglês e uma jovem vendedora envolvida na Defesa Civil. Eles estão revivendo uma tradição do passado, a peregrinação ao lugar sagrado, para buscar arrependimento e bênçãos. Ao longo do caminho, eles entam resolver o mistério do "fantasma da cola", um neurótico que ataca garotas à noite.
