Sinopse
Uma brilhante energia monstruosa é remetida à Terra e aparece ao vivo na televisão de uma família, por um acidente cósmico. O chefe da família chama um técnico para resolver o defeito, acreditando ser um problema da TV. Eles parecem não ligar para o estranho fenômeno. A filha adolescente vai namorar, os pais participam despreocupadamente de uma sessão de troca de casais e o avô fica assistindo à televisão junto com o neto. O monstro, cheio de tentáculos e ameaçador sai do monitor e engole o técnico, partindo para novas vítimas. O monstro devora, também, o avô do garoto, mas ninguém acredita quando este relata o acontecimento, afinal, como um monstro poderia ter assassinado o avô, se uma pessoa igual a ele está no quarto?
