Sinopse
A cantora Petey Brown, em visita à sua família, encontra uma série de problemas: sua irmã, seu irmão e a esposa do vizinho estão envolvidos de várias maneiras com o dono de uma boate suspeita, Nicky Toresca. Petey tem o que é preciso para lidar com Nicky, mas então ela conhece San Thomas, um ex-pianista de jazz de sucesso agora em declínio, e se apaixona perdidamente por ele.
