Sinopse
A história de Sylvia Plath (Gwyneth Paltrow), uma das mais famosas novelistas da literatura norte-americana. Nascida em Boston durante a Grande Depressão, Sylvia ainda jovem tentou cometer suicídio, na casa de sua mãe. Ela viaja à Inglaterra para estudar em Cambridge e lá conhece o jovem poeta Ted Hughes (Daniel Craig), por quem se apaixona e vive um longo romance.
