Sinopse

Com o título inspirado em uma palavra japonesa arcaica que significa "história de fantasmas", essa antologia adapta quatro contos folclóricos. Um samurai divorcia-se da mulher que ama para se casar com outra pelo dinheiro, com resultados trágicos. Um homem preso em uma nevasca é salvo por Yuki, a Donzela da Neve, mas seu resgate tem um custo. O músico cego Hoichi é forçado a se apresentar para uma plateia de fantasmas. Um autor relata a história de um samurai que vê o reflexo de outro guerreiro em sua xícara de chá.
