Sinopse
Mary Lennox (Margaret O'Brien) se muda para a mansão de seu tio Archibald Craven (Herbert Marshall) depois que seus pais morrem. Chegando lá, descobre que tem um primo deficiente, Colin (Dean Stockwell), que vive em um quarto escuro. Após fazer amizade com Colin, ela descobre que na mansão há um jardim secreto, e juntamente com seu primo Colin e seu novo amigo Dickon (Brian Roper) passam a visitar o local todos os dias, transformando-o em um refúgio e deixando-o belo e bem cuidado.
