Sinopse
Durante a Guerra Civil, soldados confederados conseguem fugir da prisão e partem para a fronteira do México. No caminho, acabam matando por engano um emissário que carrega a mensagem de que a guerra acabou. Mantendo a mensagem em segredo, o capitão manda seus homens continuarem e eles logo se encontram em uma batalha com o grupo de busca da União, que também não sabe do fim da guerra.
