Sinopse
Johnny Hawks (Kirk Douglas), um ex-lutador indiano, retorna ao Ocidente após a Guerra Civil. Ele reconhece a banda indiana liderada por Red Cloud (Eduard Franz) e sua filha, que cresceu e está linda. Mas, alguns comerciantes inescrupulosos de uísque começam a ficar atrás de ouro nas terra indianas e Hawks, para evitar derramamento de sangue, convence Red Cloud a fazer um acordo. Hawks lidera um trem que vai passando pelo território indiano, mas quando ele foge para ver a filha do chefe, os problemas entre os bravos e os comerciantes de uísque acendem-se novamente, colocando toda a missão em perigo.
