Sinopse
Durante a Segunda Guerra, Charles Coward, oficial britânico, é capturado pelos alemães. Além de provocar os inimigos, ele organiza-se com seus companheiros do campo de prisioneiros e tenta a fuga sempre que julga oportuno. Nesse meio-tempo, entre outras aventuras, ele é condecorado com a Cruz de Ferro. Baseado em fatos reais.
