Biografia
Raymond Roman Thierry Polański (Paris, 18 de agosto de 1933) é um diretor de cinema, produtor, roteirista e ator polonês e francês. Durante sua carreira Polanski recebeu cinco indicações ao Oscar , ganhando o de Melhor Diretor em 2003 por "O Pianista". Ele também recebeu dois Globos de Ouro, dois BAFTAs, uma Palma de Ouro do Festival de Cinema de Cannes de 2002 na França, bem como vários Césars. Ele fez "Macbeth" (1971) na Inglaterra e "Chinatown" (1974) em Hollywood. Em 1977, Polanski foi preso e acusado de drogar e estuprar uma menina de 13 anos.
