Biografia
John Gavin Malkovich (Christopher, 9 de Dezembro de 1953) é um ator, produtor, empresário e diretor americano. Tem uma sólida formação dramática, participou em mais de cinquenta montagens teatrais independentes como ator e cineasta, antes de triunfar no cinema no papel de Valmont em Dangerous Liaisons (Ligações Perigosas, 1988), de Stephen Frears. Outros títulos destacados da sua filmografia são Empire of the Sun (O Império do Sol, 1987), Ratos e Homens (1992), In the Line of Fire (Na Linha de Fogo, 1993), Mary Reilly (1996) e Rounders (1997). Em 2014 recebeu da Câmara Municipal de Lisboa a Medalha de Mérito Municipal, no seu Grau Ouro.
