Edward Regan "Eddie" Murphy (Brooklyn, Nova York, 3 de abril de 1961) é um comediante, premiado ator, dublador, roteirista, produtor, diretor e músico americano. O rendimento bruto dos filmes de Murphy fizeram dele o segundo ator de maior público nos Estados Unidos. Ele integrou o elenco do programa Saturday Night Live de 1980 a 1984 e trabalhou como comediante de stand-up. Ele é o número 10 na lista do Comedy Central dos 100 Maiores Stand-ups de todos os tempos. Murphy também é reconhecido como dublador, fazendo a voz de Thurgood Stubbs em The PJs, do Burro na franquia Shrek e do dragão Mushu no filme Mulan.
